On September 11, 2025, I had the privilege of taking part in the 18th international conference “Židlochovice Talks.” Under the motto “Hunting in Central Europe – common roots in the past, common topics in the present, and a shared path into the future,” the event provided an exciting forum for the exchange of experts from science, hunting, and politics.
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Order “Der Silberne Bruch” – an order dedicated to the protection of forest, wildlife, and countryside as well as the promotion of fair and ethical hunting – the Styria branch hosted a celebration on July 3 at the Naturwelten Steiermark, attended by a large number of distinguished guests. Representing the Silberner Bruch were Honorary Colonel Dr. Jürgen Siegert and State Chairman Maurice Pointner.
